Situated along the path of the former Berlin Wall, as part of the Factory Berlin campus in Mitte. Designed to be a showcase for Berlin’s tech scene, a highly transparent glass facade in a black steel frame provides a high degree of visibility. The volume itself responds directly to the restrictive planning law for sites along the Berlin Wall, stepping back at the top floor to provide a rooftop terrace with views over the city. An open ground floor maintains accessibility through the site. The interior office spaces are designed for a maximal flexibility, with specially designed floors and columns which allow the rapid reconfiguration of office spaces with modular sound isolating walls.
